Today
Charley is honoured to have won several awards for his music
and is recognised as one of Australia's greatest Bush Ballad
pickers. In 2011 Charley will be inducted into the National
Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame in America
2000's
Charley
began recoding at Kross Kut Records and was nominated for a
Gold Guitar for his duet with Alisha Smith, 'Tanami
Track.' Charley returned to America to tour again and
also toured Europe.
1990's
Charley
began his solo recording career and was inducted into
the prestigious Hands of Fame in Tamworth. Charley
also toured America, and was a member of Australia's most
famous bush ballad guitar picking touring trio 'The
Legends of Guitar' with Barry Thornton & Lindsay Butler.
1980's
In the
80's Charley travelled Australia and overseas with Slim and
the Travelling Country Band while also performing in his own
band's The Aussie Country Band & Bushfire
1970's

1960's
In the
late 60's as a
member of 'Country Sound' Charley began his musical career.
Family
Charley,
Sandra, Allan, and Sharon travelled Australia for music and
family holidays.
